Shipping & Pickup Policy – Great Plows

Shipping costs are quoted after checkout and invoiced separately. Pickup may be available based on inventory and location—we’ll help you choose the best option for your order.

Freight Shipping for Plows & Accessories

  • Direct from Manufacturer — Most products ship directly from the manufacturer (Arctic or Metal Pless).

  • Freight Quotes — Shipping costs are not included at checkout. After your order is placed, we’ll contact you with a freight quote. Once the freight invoice is paid, we’ll release your order for shipment.

  • Timing — Orders typically ship in 5–7 business days once released to the manufacturer.

Local Pickup Options

  • Great Plows Yard (Glendale Heights, IL) — Pickup is available for eligible items only, based on inventory at our yard. Eligibility is shown at checkout. We’ll contact you to schedule a pickup time once your order is ready.

  • Arctic Pickup (Bradley, IL) — For Arctic products, pickup may be available at Arctic’s facility in Bradley, IL when eligible. Details and scheduling will be provided once your order is confirmed.

Manufacturer Shipping Rules

  • Arctic — Direct-to-customer shipping is available to all U.S. states. Pickup options (Bradley, IL) may also be available when eligible.

  • Metal Pless — Direct-to-customer shipping is available only for LiveBoxx models and is currently limited to Illinois and Indiana addresses. All other Metal Pless plows require pickup at the Great Plows yard.

Smaller Parts & Accessories

Even smaller items such as mounts and couplers often require freight shipping due to size and weight. These items follow the same process outlined above (freight quoted after checkout or local pickup if applicable).

Request a Quote Items

Some products do not have a published price. For these items, the product page includes a “Request a Quote” option that links directly to our contact form. A Great Plows team member will follow up with pricing and shipping options.
